That’s one of the reasons she came in for a session. Yasdet had been telling the good people of Puerto Rico, including some of her family members, to take it easy on themselves, take care of themselves and take care of others around them. You see, she’s a physician and volunteered her time to go to PR to help with the aftermath of the hurricane. As an anesthesiologist, her skill set was in much need and she was certainly up to the task, of course.
Then she realized that she wasn’t following her own advice. She understood that in order to take care of those around her, she had a responsibility (and desire) to take care of herself.
And so we played, and played, and played. She mentioned that her Clemente jersey unexpectedly got her through some tough times. As such, it was really important to her to grab a few photos in it. That purple number was so sweet and the floral dress I wanted to steal from her and take it home for myself. It was so romantic. But oh my….that last number. Screen siren come alive right before my eyes….
So. Lesson learned. Take care of you and it will so much easier to take care of them…whoever “them” is. Makeover by At Home Beauty.
