Last night I had the pleasure of attending a local PUG (for those members of Pictage that wish to get together to discuss news about Pictage) meeting at the house of Joanne Bartone. Joanne was kind enough to open her home to a few of us local vendors so that we could meet and talk about a fabulous new service offered by Gigbooks. Justin Kifer, CEO and president of Gigbooks, gave us a fantastic presentation about his program that is basically an administrative assistant in a computer. 🙂 This crazy fabulous web-based program tracks all customer related items for you. It logs all communication including phone calls and email, allows for electronic signatures for your contracts which are sent straight from your site (no more paper contracts…YEAH!!!!), accepts payment in the form of checks and credit cards and will be coming out soon with a client portal so your customers can track and make their own payments and also keep track of their own wedding information including contact with me, shot lists…etc. If you get the chance, check this awesome program out! I signed up for a year so I’ll be giving you all my feedback as I go through the season.
